It has been my privilege to work with clients dissatisfied with the quality of their lives.
Most people feel that they have exhausted their options to resolve the problems that have drained their energy for life. Fatigue, sleeplessness, rumination, worry and sadness are symptoms of this confusion. Sometimes people contact me because they feel guilty or troubled about decisions or feel alone and isolated. I have found that there is always a way forward that can restore vitality and meaning.
My practice style is goal oriented and I rely heavily upon interactions with clients to devise goals and strategies that will meet their needs and intentions for therapy. Developing communication skills, learning to relax and to manage worry and negative thoughts are skills that I find most clients benefit from developing during the course of therapy.
I have had extensive practice with people living with chronic illness, such as diabetes, multiple schlerosis and cancer.
